The Agro Team company has been manufacturing medium for the cultivation of champignons since 1986. Initially, the company only produced phase 1 compost, the so-called green compost, since 1990 phase 2 compost and since 2008, also phase 3 compost with inoculated mycelium.
The entire process of compost production from the preliminary mixing of components to the final stage is computer-controlled and registered.
Raw material, which carefully selected and then mixed rye or wheat straw, poultry manure and gypsum, is fermented and then pasteurised. After these processes are completed and Agaricus bisporus mycelium is inoculated, next cubes are formed from it and it is foil-wrapped.
The medium prepared in this way is sold to champignon manufacturers from the commune and the province. At present, the annual productive capacity of the Goździn composting plant amounts to:
1./560,000 – 600,000 cubes of phase-2 medium
1./180,000 – 200,000 cubes of phase-3 medium

Since 1990, the company has also been dealing with champignon processing at the Rakoniewice plant. We process approx. 5,000 tonnes of fresh champignons bought from individual manufacturers and companies specialising in champignon cultivation, which have been cooperating with us for many years.
Processed champignons, blanched and pasteurised, are sold on the domestic market and exported to EU countries.

In November 2008, we completed the construction of the first stage of a champignon-growing facility in Rakoniewice. The cultivation is conducted in 6 growing halls with the total surface area of 3,200 m2 of cultivation. Each year, approx. 800 tonnes of fresh champignons are produced to be exported to European countries.

The second phase of the champignon-growing facility construction in Rakoniewice, which also has the surface area of 3,200 m2 of cultivation, will be completed in 2010, which will make it possible to increase the champignon production by 100%.

Please see our offer for more details and we invite those interested to cooperate with us.
